Mission
‘On the sector’ perform to coordinate, supervise, prioritize and assume duty for all Brussels Airways everyday upkeep operations (line & gentle) and manufacturing division sources (manpower, instruments, services, …)
Key outcome areas
Security, Safety & Compliance in manufacturing:
- Make sure that the security and high quality requirements as set by the corporate are obtained
- Monitor & guarantee compliance with all relevant procedures for all technical employees inside the manufacturing division (incl cabin, technical help, and many others) and determine/report all non-compliances with such procedures
- Guarantee respect of the well being and security procedures, appropriate in case of anomalies and report incidents

Manufacturing supervision:
- Assume full duty throughout his/her shift for the on-time efficiency and airworthiness of the fleet, and for the division productiveness for each line & gentle operations
- Outline & guarantee a transparent plan of motion is in place, and that this motion plan is clearly communicated, understood, adopted & executed by all concerned employees. Good coordination with all stakeholders.
- Guarantee appropriate and environment friendly shift handovers are completed in any respect ranges.
- Guarantee gear and employees are handled with respect
- Actively participate in common conferences with Manufacturing division Administration so as to consider and enhance the procedures, processes, sources, …
- Guarantee appropriate housekeeping in our upkeep facility
Teaching:
- Repeatedly inspire, help & appropriate as required all employees reporting (instantly or not directly) to him/her by being ‘on the sector’
- Supervise the manpower job project so as to maximize productiveness whereas guaranteeing information switch between employees and steady expertise build-up is maintained and promoted
- Consider all direct stories (Crew leaders and technicians)
Another obligation as could also be required by the manufacturing supervisor for the secure and punctual departure of the plane
Profile
- Minimal A2, preferable aviation college or equal by expertise;
- Minimal expertise required: 5 years as B1 or B2;
- Capacity to strategy a scenario or downside in a structured, methodological and logical manner;
- Good analytical expertise;
- Sturdy Communicator
- Superb in English verbal and written expertise (Dutch or French is an asset);
- Educated within the important features of MS Workplace merchandise (phrase, excel) is a plus;
- Good information of AMOS is a plus.
